The Boston Globe Editorial Board just wrote one of the most full-throated endorsements of the Healthy Youth Act we’ve seen from a major American newspaper, and quoted SIECUS while they were at it! We’re so glad to see them bluntly call out that “The Puritans who once landed on these shores may be long gone, but political squeamishness over the “s-word” lingers on,” and call for immediate action. And we’re not the only ones listening – the MA Senate passed the bill near-unanimously the same day the editorial ran. Now the bill is in the hands of the House Ways and Means Committee, and the Massachusetts Healthy Youth Act Coalition that’s been working to see it passed and implemented for over a decade.
